Through GrowthAccelerator there is also exclusive access of up to £2,000 match funding for every senior manager and director involved in the strategic direction of the business, to undertake leadership and management training. Many Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire based businesses of all sizes and across a wide range of sectors have signed up to GrowthAccelerator and are achieving fantastic results. K International K International is a Milton Keynes based Language Translation Services provider established over 25 years ago, originally as a family business. It now has 35 employees and turnover is £2.7m this financial year. Director, Richard Brooks is currently working with a GrowthAccelerator Growth Coach to ensure that the business responds to ever changing customer requirements and continues to offer translation services to some of the UK’s largest exporting companies. Leadership and Management Development funding of £6,000 has been accessed to match fund the costs of a Sales Director programme and Business Growth and Development Programme with Cranfield University School of Management for K International’s Senior Sales Managers and Directors. K International CEO, Richard Brooks, commented “GrowthAccelerator allowed me to take stock of the business - which I’d bought 6 months previously - and helped me to realise my goals in a turbulent period of business development. Steve Castens, our Growth Coach, was fantastic. His insights into how businesses in my sector operate and the opportunities available enabled me to create demonstrative value in my client’s operations. The Leadership and Management funding we received was spent on some very senior training at Cranfield University. Deli 24 Ltd Deli 24 Ltd is a Milton Keynes manufacturer of meat and cheese chilled snack foods, employing 30 staff. Turnover is £2.5m this financial year with plans to grow to £10m in three years’ time. Director, Jeff Winter worked with a GrowthAccelerator Coach, Paul Handforth, to focus in on empowering staff, change management and inspirational leadership to strengthen foundations for growth. Leadership and management development funding of £12,000 has been accessed to match fund the costs of a range of In-house Institute of Leadership and Management accredited training activities for Senior Managers, including managing operations, leadership, business awareness and line management. Deli 24 Ltd Director, Jeff Winter, commented: “I have found the coaching from GrowthAccelerator and the subsequent cascading of training within our business very positive. Verticality Ltd Verticality is a Northamptonshire based recruitment consultancy that provides permanent and contract staff, specialising in the IT and Sales and Marketing professions in the UK and Europe. The business currently employs 30 staff and turnover is £4m, with predicted growth to £10m in three years’ time. Director, Stephen Grainger worked with a Growth Coach, to strengthen financial management and ensure the business has a robust marketing strategy in place to support future growth. Leadership and management development funding of £12,000 has been accessed to match fund the costs of bespoke Director team training, including one to one, scenario based and workshop sessions to make a step change in senior management team effectiveness to aid the growth of the business.
